DJ SET SUBMISSION GUIDE

You film your set. You send it in. We review, edit and post it to a partnering YouTube channel. When it's live, you get paid. Read this in full before you record.

Step by step

THE PROCESS

1. Reach out
Email us with who you are, your genre and your socials.
2. Send a test video
A 2-3 minute clip showing your setup, ambiance, camera quality and audio.
3. We review the test
We confirm it meets what we and the YouTube channel owners are looking for, and give notes if anything needs to change.
4. Record the full set
35 minutes minimum, same setup and quality as the approved test. Longer sets pay more.
5. Send it in
Upload the full-quality file and email us the link.
6. We review and edit
We check the audio against the video, edit, and prepare it for posting.
7. We post it
The set goes up on the partnering YouTube channel.
8. You get paid
Payment is sent once editing, review and posting are complete.

Required first

THE TEST VIDEO

Before we move forward with anyone, we need a 2–3 minute test video. It's not optional — it makes sure your setup meets the standard before you spend an hour recording a full set. There's no payment for the test clip; payment applies to the full accepted set.

›Your full DJ setup as it will look in the real recording.
›The background and ambiance — lighting, space, anything in frame.
›Camera quality and framing at the exact settings you'll use.
›A couple minutes of you actually mixing, so we can hear the audio.

Standards

SET REQUIREMENTS

Length: 35 minutes minimum. 35-40 min pays $65-$80; 45-60+ min pays $85-$150.
Camera: High-quality camera or a modern phone. 1080p minimum, 4K preferred.
Stability: Tripod or fixed mount. No handheld, no shaky footage.
Framing: You and your gear clearly in frame. Horizontal (landscape) orientation.
Lighting: Well-lit. Avoid heavy backlight and pitch-black rooms.
Background: A clean, intentional setting. Studio, booth, loft, warehouse — anywhere that looks deliberate.
Audio: Clean audio. A direct line out from your mixer is strongly preferred over the camera mic.
Continuity: One continuous take. Don't stop and restart mid-set.

Check your audio before you send it.

Play the full file back start to finish and confirm the audio matches the video and stays in sync the whole way. Out-of-sync or distorted audio is the number one reason a set gets sent back.

Delivery

HOW TO SEND YOUR SET

›Export at full quality — no compressed or 'web' versions.
›Upload to Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer.
›Set sharing to 'anyone with the link can view'.
›Email the link to DAFCMNGT@GMAIL.COM with your name and set title in the subject.
›No text message, Instagram DM or phone-to-phone transfers — they destroy the quality.
›Keep your original file until the video is posted and you've been paid.

Also include your name / DJ name, your payment method and handle, your Instagram, and a tracklist if you have one.

Upload your file to Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer, then drop the link here. This goes straight into our review queue.

Your rights

WHO OWNS WHAT

You keep full ownership of your original content. Sending us a set does not sign away your footage or your music.

›You own your original raw footage and your set.
›We handle the review, editing and posting to the partnering YouTube channel.
›You're sent a copy of the finished edited video for your own pages.
›The set is published on the partnering YouTube channel as part of the program.

Make sure you have the right to perform and publish the music in your set — heavily copyright-flagged material can get a video pulled.

Be clear

WHAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE

›We do not film your set — you record it yourself.
›We do not supply cameras, lighting, microphones or DJ equipment.
›We do not provide the venue or studio space.

What we do provide: review, full editing, posting on a partnering YouTube channel, promotion, and payment for accepted sets.
